What is it?
Eurora's IOSS service offers a secure way to take care of VAT registration and reporting when shipping goods to the EU and Northern Ireland. Eurora’s IOSS service includes VAT return preparation and submission, VAT data verification, VAT payment transfer, record keeping (legal requirement), representation before Tax Authorities and a personal qualified Tax Consultant with years of Tax authority experience, who will help you with any questions you may have within 24 hours or less.
Who is it for?
IOSS is not applicable to all goods and for all businesses. You need to meet the following criteria to use the IOSS scheme:
- You are a B2C seller
- Your goods are located outside the EU when they are sold
- The goods you are dispatching have a value up to €150
- The goods are not subject to excise duties (indirect taxes on specific products like alcohol or tobacco) or for sending gifts nor goods free of charge.
How it works?
Every month (by the 5th at the latest) customers send their previous month's sales data to Eurora in an Excel file, via Eurora API or app. Monthly IOSS VAT Return are then prepared by Eurora. An invoice for the monthly fee and VAT due is issued to the customer. The IOSS VAT return is then submitted, and the VAT is transferred to the Tax Authority by Eurora.
